Our client, a well-established IT solutions provider with over 30 years of experience, is looking to expand their technical team with the addition of an IT Support Engineer.
This is an office-based role, supporting a broad client base across multiple locations nationwide.
The successful candidate will be a professional and customer-focused IT Support Engineer, responsible for delivering high-quality technical support. The role is primarily remote support-based, with occasional on-site visits as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote technical support to clients across multiple locations
- Deliver occasional on-site support when required
- Configure and deploy hardware and software solutions
- Diagnose and repair technical issues across systems and devices
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative support tasks
- Support Microsoft environments including Office 365 and Windows OS
- Configure and maintain servers, switches, routers, and firewalls
- Assist with cloud services configuration and support
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls)
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Active Directory / Azure AD administration, including Group Policy
- Windows 10/11 support
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Desirable Skills:
- Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022)
- Hyper-V virtualisation
- MDM solutions (e.g. Intune, Apple, Meraki)
- Apple device support
- Backup and disaster recovery technologies
- Applicants must have prior experience in a similar IT support role.
