Role: Business Development Manager - Education (Independent Schools) Location: Surrey £60,000 Base + Double OTE (£120,000 Package) + £5,000 Car AllowanceThe Opportunity* We are a leading national IT Managed Services provider with a dedicated and growing Education Division, supporting both state and independent schools across the UK. * Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new business within the Independent Schools sector across the South of England and London. * This is a high-impact, field-based role suited to someone who understands the education landscape, has strong existing networks, and knows how to sell complex managed IT services.The RoleYou will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within Independent Schools, working closely with technical and delivery teams to create compelling solutions.Key Responsibilities:* Drive new logo acquisition within Independent Schools * Build and maintain strong relationships with school leadership and decision makers * Develop and execute territory and account development plans * Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract close * Represent the business at sector events, conferences, and networking forums * Work collaboratively with pre-sales and technical teams to shape solutions * Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM updatesAbout You* We are looking for someone who combines sector credibility with strong commercial sales ability. * Proven new business sales experience in IT Managed Services * Strong understanding of the Independent Education sector * Track record of delivering against revenue targets * Strong stakeholder and relationship-building skills * Ability to operate autonomously in a field-based role * Full UK driving licenceDesirable:* Existing network within Independent Schools * Experience selling multi-service or complex IT solutionsWhat We Offer* Up to £60,000 base salary * Double OTE (Up to £120,000 total package) * £5,000 Car Allowance * Strong delivery capability and sector reputation to support sales success * Clear growth pathway within a national organisation * Supportive, collaborative culture

Our services support everything from large-scale device refresh projects to cloud migration and secure disposal services.Our Mission We are passionate about delivering social value through technology - giving second life to IT equipment and creating opportunities for people across our communities.The Team You'll join a small, friendly IT team supporting two UK sites. You'll work closely with senior technical leadership while having the space and support to develop your skills. The business is currently undergoing a major system transformation, offering exposure to new platforms, cloud technologies, and modern tooling.
