As we continue to grow, we are seeking a commercially astute Contracts & Procurement Manager to take strategic ownership of supplier governance, commercial risk management, and procurement performance across our technology portfolio.
This is a high-impact leadership role focused on margin protection, supplier optimisation and commercial control.
The Role
You will act as the commercial gatekeeper between our business and key partners including OEM manufacturers, distributors, leasing providers and software vendors.
Your remit is simple but critical:
Protect margin. Control risk. Optimise commercial value.
You will drive procurement strategy, strengthen supplier relationships, and ensure all contracts are structured, competitive and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier & Commercial Contract Leadership
- Own strategic relationships with:
- OEM manufacturers (e.g. Xerox, HP, Konica Minolta)
- Technology distributors
- Leasing and finance providers
- Software and service vendors
- Negotiate pricing models, rebate structures and commercial frameworks.
- Lead contract review and governance across all supplier agreements.
- Monitor renewals, volume commitments and commercial obligations.
- Ensure SLAs and performance measures are commercially robust.
- Act as escalation lead for supplier disputes and negotiations.
Procurement Strategy & Cost Optimisation
- Develop and implement a structured procurement strategy aligned to growth and margin targets.
- Deliver full spend visibility and supplier performance oversight.
- Identify cost-saving and value-enhancement opportunities.
- Establish approval frameworks for high-value and non-standard purchasing.
- Ensure procurement channels are commercially competitive and strategically aligned.
Margin Protection & Commercial Performance
- Analyse pricing structures, incentives and rebate schemes to eliminate margin leakage.
- Track, reconcile and recover all supplier incentives.
- Partner with Finance and Service Operations to optimise cost-to-serve.
- Support bid pricing, commercial modelling and contract structuring for new client wins.
- Improve commercial governance across upstream and downstream agreements.
Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Review equipment finance and leasing exposure.
- Mitigate risks associated with auto-renewals, volume commitments and unfavourable terms.
- Maintain structured documentation, audit trails and contract controls.
- Ensure supplier activity aligns with internal governance and compliance frameworks.

- Proven experience in commercial procurement or contract management within:
- Managed IT Services
- Managed Print Services
- Technology distribution
- Strong commercial negotiation capability.
- Deep understanding of margin structures, rebates and supplier pricing models.
- Experience with leasing and equipment finance agreements.
- Ability to assess and mitigate contractual risk.
- Strong financial and commercial literacy.
